Thinner heat insulation with new window and facade constructions

Thermography of a fassade with high insulation shows the influence of window quality on wall insulation quality. Glazing, thermal edge bond and frame structure now are the weak spots.

The thermal image of a facade with very good heat insulation (wall U-value: 0-15 W/m²K) shows how the influence of the window quality increases the entire heat insulation quality. Glazing, edge seals and frames are now the new weak points.
