Im Rahmen der Berliner Energietage hat die Forschungsinitiative EnOB die 10 Preisträger im BMWi-Wettbewerb "Energieoptimiertes Bauen 2009" ausgezeichnet.

Before an audience of over 220 participants, the jury and prize-winners first outlined their viewpoints, strategies and solution approaches for optimised building and energy concepts, and introduced the ten prize-winning new-building and refurbishment projects. The official award ceremony then followed: Dr. Knut Kübler from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the Chairman of the Jury Dietmar Riecks awarded equal prizes with a total value of 100,000 euros.

The award-winners now have a good chance of obtaining scientific support for the implementation of their projects. As model projects in the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology’s EnOB “Energy-Optimised Construction” research initiative, they will benefit from ongoing scientific accompaniment from the planning phase right through to commissioning and optimisation of operation.
