Specialist conference on solar-ecological building refurbishment

Solarinitiative Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V. is organising a specialist conference on building refurbishment. Various approaches to refurbishing buildings will be presented, ranging from zero-energy concepts when there are listed building requirements to thermal storage in buildings and the energy-oriented monitoring of existing buildings. Markus Kratz from Project Management Jülich will present the activities and funding areas of the EnOB research initiative.

During the conference, there will be visits to two building refurbishment projects: the Gutskomplex Wietow, which is a group of farm buildings listed as a historic monument, and Solares Technologie- und Gewerbezentrum Wietow, in which the event is being held.
