EnOB symposium: On the road to zero energy buildings

Abstract
Date: October 1.-2. 2008
Location: Dresden
The EnOB symposium, entitled ‘On the road to zero energy buildings’, is once again aimed at exchanging ideas between research and practical construction and planning. Various EnOB research teams will offer an insight into current projects, but the main focus on the two-day event is zero energy buildings. This is the first time that EnOB fields of New Constructions (EnBau) and Refurbishment (EnSan) have appeared together at the event, taking place in Dresden this time around.
More details
High levels of user comfort with minimal primary energy requirements are the aims of the new development and refurbishment of buildings. At the same time, every innovation must be measured against cost efficiency (investment and operation). Innovative technologies, new materials and building and plant concepts designed to achieving this will be introduced at the symposium. The event is aimed at architects, planners, building operators, investors and students.
Meeting place
The new International Congress Center Dresden is located in the heart of the historical city with its well-known places of interest, such as the Semperoper, the Zwinger and the Frauenkirche.
Event programme
The event programme and registration can be found on the EnOB symposium website and in the symposium brochure. We will provide more details here as soon as the detailed event programme is available.
