EnOB status seminar: Current development trends for practical applications

Abstract
Date: 30. 6. – 2. 7. 2009
Location: Würzburg
Also in 2009, an exchange of experience will take place between researchers and the building and planning sectors under the title of “Research for energy-optimised building”. At the EnOB status seminar, research teams will be offering an insight into their current projects. In particular, this two-day event will concentrate on technologies, systems and tools from the research sector. For example, window and facade systems, HVAC technology, building-integrated heat storage and new approaches in modelling and operational optimisation will be dealt with.
More details
Innovative products, systems and tools for building facades, system technology and building operation are the focus of research and development work being carried out by universities and research institutes in cooperation with industry. Based on development approaches currently being supported, the following subject areas will be presented at the status seminar and discussed with regard to applicability, costs and outlook for the future:
- Innovative window and facade systems
- Heating, ventilation, air conditioning: new concepts and applications
- Thermal energy storage systems and their integration into buildings
- Energy-efficient buildings: new approaches in modelling and operational optimisation
Further research results from supported projects will be presented in a poster exhibition. In addition, industrial partners will be showcasing innovative products which have resulted from development projects.
The status seminar will present an opportunity to exchange views with people from science and business who represent the whole spectrum of research and development activities concerning tomorrow’s energy-efficient buildings.
Conference Venue
The conference will take place in the ‘Würzburger Residenz’.
