Refurbishment of a Gründerzeit house with interesting details

In Hamburg, a Gründerzeit house that comprises two structurally identical building sections was fully refurbished. The refurbishment was carried out using two sets of standards to enable the two refurbishment alternatives to be compared in respect of energy efficiency and costs.
