Karlsruhe high-rise residential complex

In the 1950s and 1960s, tightly-packed residential settlements, and in some cases completely new quarters, were developed in cities' outskirts. In the meantime, a fundamental refurbishment of these high-rise residential buildings is necessary, in order to reduce energy consumption, and to improve the quality of living.
