BOB – Balanced Office Building

Since with the "Balanced Office Building" the designers were also the developers and users, it was possible to optimise the building in all details and in an interdisciplinary manner. Right from the beginning it was planned to develop the concept as a serial product. The building was therefore intended to be particularly economical to create and operate.

Science College in the Overbach education centre

A model project for the research topic of “Energy-efficient schools”: in summer 2009 the existing Haus Overbach education centre gained two new buildings – a scientific education centre and a guest house. Both new buildings meet the passive house requirements, while the education centre is also equipped with a number of innovative building technology details such as switchable glazing.
